How it works

This function allows a user to split a table into multiple sheets based on the classification of the line item of a selected column.

How to use it:

Step 1

Check that the column you would like to use to split the data with has multiple classifications.

Step 2

In the ‘More’ drop down of the Cleaning and Structuring group, click on ‘Split Sheet’.

A new pop-up window will appear.

Step 3

Selected the column header with the categories to be used when splitting the data. Then click Okay.

Step 4

Upon completion, new sheets will be populated into the workbook, named according to the classification. Within each sheet, only line items with the same classification will be found.
