How it works
The Sampling Tool has a built in range detector that will attempt to auto-detect where the data for sampling is located within the active sheet.
It is important that you sense check this, as it is telling you from where it will sample.
Understanding Layout

1. Data Range
Indication of the cells that have been detected to contain the population to be used for sampling.
2. Headers
Tick box, auto ticked on opening the Sampling Tool. Allows you to sample data that does not contain headers in the first row.
3. Change Range
Allows users to change range through making a selection directly in excel of the population.
How to change the range:

Step 1
With the sampling tool open, click on ‘Change selection range’.
A new pop-up window will appear.

Step 2
Click within the cell and then proceed to making the selection of the range for the sample to be applied to, then click ‘OK’.

Step 3
The updated range will be reflected on the Sampling Tool original window.
