How it works
The Sampling Tool has a built in range detector that will attempt to auto-detect where the data for sampling is located within the active sheet.
It is important that you sense check this, as it is telling you from where it will sample.
Understanding Layout
1. Advanced Section Enabler
Clicking on this button on the Sampling tool, will open the Advanced Section.
2. Column with Transaction Values
The Sampling tool will prepopulate the heading/column the transaction values are within. The dropdown displays the results and allows it to be changed.
3. Materiality
This allows for all transactions above a specified value to be include over and above the selection made in the Sampling Tool. The materiality value can be entered into the space provided.
4. Exclude
This allows the sample to be selected from the remaining population after excluding values as specified.
